[ACCIDENT] C4 Corvette Rollover in Illinois

Two passengers in a white Corvette C4 convertible might want to buy some lottery tickets after the lucky men escaped without injury when the car rolled over in Springfield, Illinois on May 18.

The Corvette nearly fell into a ravine and wound up upside down after rolling over on Taylor Avenue about 7:30 p.m.

The cause of the mishap may have been a blowout, based on what witnesses reported hearing as the car traveled southbound and suddenly went out of control.

A nearby resident heard the crash, ran over, and cut one of the passengers out of his seatbelt.

The two passengers refused medical treatment, but their mishap blocked traffic in both directions for about an hour.
