If you’ve been around the Corvette hobby for awhile then you have most likely seen examples of Scott Teeter’s Corvette artwork. Scott has been illustrating Corvettes since the mid-seventies and his column The Illustrated Corvette Series has run in every issue of VETTE magazine since the Spring of 1997.
Scott’s artistry is on display at www.IllustratedCorvetteSeries.com and his Corvette drawings would make a great gift for the Corvette enthusiast in your life! Check out some of Scott’s latest work, the Corvette Postage Stamp Series.
While not “real” US Postal Service stamps, Scott has rolled out a series of prints in the style of the classic commemorative stamp designs. Each print measures 11×17, is signed by the artist, and numbered in a series of 500. Price is just $29.95, plus $6.95 for shipping and handling. The prints are sized so that they fit perfectly into a standard 16×20 mat (with a 13-1/2×10-1/2) opening, making framing easy.
Here are the prints available in the Postage Stamp collection:
The Corvette Special Edition series pays homage to all 16 special edition Corvettes beginning with the 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette and concluding with the 2013 60th Anniversary 427 Convertible. Click here to see larger verisions of each of the models.
New to Teeter’s Stamp collection is Corvette Pace Car series showing all 12 Indy 500 Corvette Pace Cars from 1978 through the 2012 Corvette ZR1 that paced Indianapolis this year. Click here to see larger verisions of each of the models.
If you’re like us and love Corvette race cars, Scott has a series devoted to the Corvettes in some of the most famous racing liverys including Dave McDonald’s 1963 Corvette Z06, the 1963 Corvette Grand Sports and even the 1960 Briggs Cunningham #3 Corvette that won its class at Le Mans. Click here to see larger verisions of each of the models.
In his tenure at VETTE, Scott has illustrated every production Corvette from 1953 to 2013 and has also recreated the most important Corvette show cars, experiementals and concepts as well as almost every Corvette engine. His collection includes special “Tuner” Corvettes from the likes of Baldwin Motion, Callaway, Mattet and Guldstrand.
Scott told us in an email that “If you have a Corvette, most likely, I have an art print for you!”
Scott also has a Zazzle Store so you can get prints of the the Special Edition Corvettes on t-shirts, mugs, iPhone cases, and more. Click here to visit Scott’s Zazzle store.
