We made a quick stop last weekend at the 8th annual Canterbury Corvette Fest hosted by the GMC Corvette Set club. Just under 100 Corvettes were spread out around the scenic property of Olde World Canterbury Village in Lake Orion, Michigan. A photo gallery of the event lurks just beyond the jump.
Corvettes from all generations were scattered all around the picturesque streets, sidewalks, and lawn of the village. The free event is a fundraiser for the Leader Dogs for the Blind. In addition to the car show, attendees could bid at the silent auction, browse some of the newest offerings from Chevrolet, or wander the quaint shops of Canterbury.
Accolades went to the top 3 spots in each of the judged classes. Other unique awards were given for the earliest registration, perfect attendance at each of the 8 events, and one to the car with the highest average miles driven per year.
