1968 Corvette T-Top. The VIN #194378S419XXX indicates the Vette was built in May 1968, late in the 1968 Corvette production. This late date is an indication that any modifications/changes made on a ‘rolling basis’ would have been included in this Corvette. Since the 1968 model was the first model year of the third generation Corvette (C3), changes on a ‘rolling basis’ were quite common.

The Corvette is powered by the original 327-300 motor which was the base motor offered at no additional charge. The visual condition of the motor compartment can be termed in average street-driven condition. The chrome shielding was noted as missing. This motor is coupled with a 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, an option selected by only 18% of the 1968 Vette buyers. The mileage of this Corvette has been reported as unknown.

There were ten exterior paint offerings for the 1968 model year. This Corvette is Corvette Bronze, a color somewhat rare as it was ordered by only 12% of the buyers. This color is coupled with a complimentary Dark Orange Vinyl interior. The exterior paint and interior seats, door panels and carpet are all classified in good condition.

An important component for vintage Corvettes is their originality. No modifications were noted on 1968 Corvette. A luggage rack was added to the rear deck on the Corvette, however this was a dealer-installed option.

The wheels and wheel trim are correct for this Corvette and the tires are rated in good condition.

Options include power steering and brakes as well as the comfort feature of air-conditioning. This option was selected by 20% of the 1968 buyers.

Documentation consists of the original warranty papers.

We place a value of $24,800 on this 1968 Corvette T-Top.
