On Sunday, over 40 current and former Corvette race cars gathered at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the Corvette World Tribute, a celebration of racing Corvettes as part of the Chevrolet’s 100 year anniversary. As the cars lined up to take a parade lap around the famous 4.08 mile circuit, youtube member HeyMark5 captured nearly three minutes of pure Corvette thunder as each of the corvettes sauntered past his camera and made their way onto the track.
The Corvette World Tribute was put on by our friends at the Registry of Corvette Race Cars. As we wait for an official recap of the event, you can see more pictures from Sunday’s Corvette World Tribute as well as pictures from the previous day’s ALMS race from dvandeentop on Photobucket.
