[VIDEO] Oliver Gavin talks with CorvetteBlogger.com at Sebring

With the departure of Johnny O’Connell, Oliver Gavin assumes the unofficial role of senior driver at Corvette Racing. In the nine years since he’s been with factory race team, Gavin has posted 76 starts with 32 wins and 18 poles in ALMS competition and 9 starts with 6 podium finishes including 4 class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With the 12 Hours of Sebring getting underway later this week, we spoke with Oliver about the strategy in dealing with 56 cars on the grid, off-season changes to the C6.Rs, and his new co-driver Richard Westbrook.

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring starts at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, and end 12 hours later at 10:30 pm. The race will be shown live on ESPN3.com and americanlemans.com from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. ET. ABC will provide coverage from 12:30 to 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 20.
