NCM to Raffle Special One-Off Kentucky Experience Corvette Grand Sport

While most of the horses found at the upcoming 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY will be of the four-legged variety, the National Corvette Museum will be offering 436 horses under the hood of Kentucky’s official sports car to one lucky raffle winner on Sunday, October 10th. This one of a kind 2010 Corvette Grand Sport is VIN #14 and was used extensively by Chevrolet at shows promoting the new Grand Sport model.

Once the decision was made to offer the Corvette for the raffle, Corvette’s design team made a few custom modifications to make it a true collectible. The Kentucky Experience Corvette Grand Sport now features a special “one off” centerstack and steering wheel finish, unique center console leather wrap, special detail on the steering wheel center and special rear badge and windshield decal.

Standard features on the #14 2010 Corvette Grand Sport include the 3LT package, 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift, dual-mode performance exhaust and the museum’s R8C delivery. The Corvette has approximately 1,680 miles on the odometer. Total MSRP was over $72,000.

“This is definitely a collectible Corvette with a rich history,” said Harlan Charles, Chevrolet Corvette Product Marketing Manager. “We’ve selected a special low VIN Corvette which has traveled the country with us at Chevrolet to promote the new Grand Sport model. Our designers have also made a few special modifications to the car, making it truly one-of-a-kind,” he added.

The Corvette will be displayed by the Welcome Center of the Kentucky Experience during the 16-day event.

Tickets for the 2010 Corvette Grand Sport are $20 each with an unlimited number available. You can purchase tickets at the Welcome Center of the Kentucky Experience, the National Corvette Museum or online at CorvetteMuseum.com/Raffle
