[VIDEO] 2010 Le Mans: Corvette Racing’s Oliver Gavin Interview During Qualifying Session

Corvette Racing will be starting 2nd and 3rd in Saturday’s 24 Hour of Le Mans with the Risi Ferrari F430 holding the pole. During the 3rd and final qualifying session Oliver Gavin was interviewed in Corvette Racing’s garage. Video is after the jump.

But is there some drama happening at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France? This evening Oliver left the following update on his facebook page:

I think we got the pole…! Have to have it confirmed in the morning but I believe the lead Ferrari has a tech problem… We’ll see…

I guess we’ll have to wait until morning as well. Already the two new GT2 Corvettes being in 2nd and 3rd has been a wake up call for all the teams in the class, but a pole position and 2nd place in class would automatically set up the Corvette C6.Rs as the team to beat.
