1954 Corvette offered at Barrett-Jackson Scottdale 2010

Barrett-Jackson’s collector car event kicks off today in Scottsdale, Arizona and to make sure you don’t miss any of the action, we went through the massive car list and pulled out the 114 Corvettes that are scheduled to appear over the next six days.

This should be an exciting week for auction watchers as its the most Corvettes we’ve seen scheduled at Barrett-Jackson in several years. The Scottsdale auction also looks to be the year that big block Chevy power returns as many if not a majority of the 1966-1969 Corvettes scheduled are powered by 427s in a variety of horsepower configurations.

Also, based on several of the Corvettes we see on the docket, it looks as though GM has returned to sell off some more of its private collection. There is a 1 of 83 1989 Corvette ZR-1 that has never been titled, and the #02 2009 Competition Sport Corvette Coupe that gave us a 135 mph hot lap at Sebring last year is also being offered.

Like all Barrett-Jackson auctions, these Corvettes are all offered at No Reserve.

CorvetteBlogger has once again teamed up with SPEED to offer analysis and insight into the Corvettes auctioned this week at Barrett-Jackson. You can follow that coverage here or join the the Barrett-Jackson group on My SPEED.

Twitter users also have several options this year. Follow CorvetteBlogger on Twitter for Corvette sales. Barrett-jackson is also on twitter and posts the latest sales, so if you miss a sale, you can quickly find the gavel price online.
