Known for its glitz, high rollers and unlimited checkbooks, Las Vegas is the perfect location for a Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. This week marks the company’s first foray into the town that never sleeps with three days of Corvettes, classics and the spectacle that surrounds any Barrett-Jackson auction. The three day event will be hosted at the Mandalay Bay Event Centers October 16-18 and will feature Live TV coverage courtesy of SPEED.
We count 57 Corvettes on the three day docket ranging in years from a 1954 roadster through a 2005 24 Hours of Le Mans Pace Car. This auction has a little bit of something for everyone with several non-matching number drivers, resto-mods and customs and of course, several big blocks are also on the menu.
Live coverage of Barrett-Jackson: Las Vegas is provided by SPEED with televised auctions running 7pm-12 midnight Thursday and Friday and 6pm with 12 Midnight on Saturday. Like always, we’ll be covering this Barrett-Jackson extensively as perhaps it will give us an indication of where Corvette pricing may be heading during these turbulent economic times.
We perused the list of cars and have the Corvette schedule listed below. Please note that the Daytona, Le Mans and Indy Pace cars were listed on Barrett-Jackson’s schedule for both Friday and Saturday nights. If we see it corrected, we’ll make that change here.
