Carlisle Details 2008 Corvette Show Plans


Got a Red, White or Blue Corvette? If you’re planning on attending the Corvettes at Carlisle show later this Summer, you might want to sign up for this year’s participant highlight – an aerial display of the American flag created with 104 Red, White and Blue Corvettes. The flag will be created and displayed on Friday, August 22nd and all participants will receive free parking and a free digital copy of the photo.

Chips Choice:
Corvettes at Carlisle is jumping headfirst in the “Resto-Mod” craze by hosting a gathering of these special built Corvettes. The chosen Corvettes are determined by a “quality selection process” which consists of uniqueness, overall appearance, desirability and build quality. Anniversary Reunions:
Lance and his team will gather an array of 1958 Corvettes for the 50th anniversary display. As this is also 30th anniversary for the 1978 Corvette Pace Car, look for a gathering representing the Black and Silver Indianapolis 500 Replicas.

Lance Miller, Senior Director with Carlisle Events commented, “This year’s event is going to be one for the record books. Each year demonstrates how a love for Corvettes can bring such an array of great people together at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.
