Corvette Takes Top Spot in Owner-Satisfaction Survey

by Keith Cornett on March 7, 2007

Consumer Reports has just wrapped up what they are calling their biggest owner-satisfaction survey ever, and the Chevrolet Corvette won the top spot in the Sports Cars/Sporty Cars category, and was number 2 overall. The Corvette’s 89% was second overall only to the Toyota Prius’ 92%. The number represents the percentage of survey respondents who said they would definitely get their car again. The survey is part of the Consumer Reports annual automotive issue that has taken some flak from many online automotive sites and their readers for their testing procedures that tend to favor Japanese brands over domestics and European models. The only other GM Brands to make the Best Model list include the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs which both scored 82%, and the Buick Lucerne which scored an 80%.
