Vincentric Names Corvette Best Value in America

Vincentric provides data, knowledge, and insight to the automotive industry by identifying and applying the many aspects of automotive value. Their eight cost factors measure depreciation, fuel, insurance, opportunity cost, financing, maintenance, taxes and state fees, and repairs, and then applies a statistical model against evaluated vehicles in all 50 states. The company identified the Best Value in America by measuring which vehicles have a lower than expected ownership cost given their market segment and price. The outcome? Corvette was recognized in two categories as part of Vincentric’s 2007 Best Value in America Awards: Convertible, over $29,000 and Sports Car, over $41,000. General Motors truck line did extremely well, winning four of the eight Pickup categories with their Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra lineup. The Saturn Vue Greenline also made the list as a category winner for Crossovers, under $29,000.
